IPhone battery life calculation
Apple shows in product reviews on the website is always the battery life of the iPhone. For example, the iPhone 3G speak a duration of five hours at a 3G connection and a talk time of 12 hours if your EDGE / GPRS. Good to know, but how does Apple those numbers?

iPod Touch with 3G next fall?

Apple advertises the iPod Touch as an iPhone without the phone. In a previous article we have already mentioned that Apple would be willing to fill one of the main drawbacks of this device by integrating the module for 3G connectivity. Basically the iPod Touch is being sold to children and young people to enable them to listen to music, play games and use applications.
But in case you want to use to check e-mail or give a peek at propri0 favorite blog, the only possibility is that Connie Hotspot Wi-Fi. Article in which he stated that a fifth-generation iPod Touch with 3G connection module is ready to launch.
“This device will become like the iPhone, where you have a 3G subscription with your ISP. The decision to add the module to 3G ‘iPod Touch is also not a bad idea for Apple. The only question is how this decision is received by telecom operators, since the use of Skype will increase considerably. “
Simply put the iPod Touch will have a data connection to surf the internet without the ability to call (other VoIP applications), as on current models and iPad iPad 2.
The addition of 3G connectivity would greatly increase the chances of use are limited at this time. The number of Wi-Fi hotspots can not compete with the freedom to connect almost anywhere and when we want. Besides clouding the new services will be increasingly necessary to have a connection. It remains to be seen whether this device as well as the company decides to launch the iPhone a “low end”. To know the truth we will probably wait until September.
iPod Classic: The future age of icloud?

Given up for lost several times the ‘ iPod Classic , the only family to have maintained a traditional hard drive instead of flash memory, is still marketed in the 160 GB version, though Apple has not made up of two new product years now.
In the age of icloud , where content is stored on Apple servers and synchronized via wireless devices, the iPod Classic seems anachronistic, a product intended to be permanently pensioned off, as happened recently for the white MacBook .
However, Apple could also decide to update the iPod Classic, transforming it into a product with the times, adding wireless capability to integrate the ecosystem of icloud.
The rumors about the new Time Capsule , then turned out to be unfounded, speculated the adoption of the Apple processor A4 and IOS to fit best with the functionality of the system icloud and make everything a true cloud solution, the distributed storage of content.
Without necessarily go to these levels, Apple would simply give the iPod Classic features an external hard drive Wi-Fi, like the Seagate Go Flex Satellite , providing extra storage for devices with little memory as it is rumored to be the ‘ iPhone 4s .
The statement “iPhone icloud” this fall?

As reported by MacRumors via the portal AppleNApps , it seems that the house of Cupertino is thinking of introducing in the coming months, a new iPhone model at low cost.
This version is mainly based on the streaming of content related to the new service “icloud”, it seems that the new iPhone will be called “iPhone icloud”.
From some independent sources, but reliable, we note that Apple will launch two models of smartphones, the eagerly anticipated new iPhone 5 (thinner, A5 processor just like his older brother iPad 2, the rear aluminum) while the model “low-cost “.
“IPhone icloud” will consist of several components related to its predecessor, iPhone 4, but will lower costs by providing a cheaper material.
Its price could be around 400 euros.
This new policy will allow lower costs, according to Apple, to increase the percentage of iPhone users at the same time promoting the service “icloud” already built-in smartphones.
Rumors: The iPhone 5 could be launched Oct. 1 in Canada

Since MacRumors get other items involving the iPhone 5. In particular, a couple of reports today are making the rounds of the web with more details on the next generation of the new device.
The analyst Shaw Wu said in a statement today announced that the iPhone could have a substantial update 5 “larger than expected.” The terminal should have a larger display and more subtle and mount a dual-core processor. The design would be very similar to the iPad tondeggiato 2 with the back and fully ionized aluminum.
Sources indicate that the differences relate to the display that is slightly larger than the current 3.5-inch thick and a little more subtle. Important factor to improve the experience of the iPhone without making it too cumbersome.
The last entry comes from a “reliable source” Canadian carrier Telus and 5 states that the iPhone will be launched on 1 October instead of September as initially rumored. An “internal document” would support their source and the new forecast.
Personally I think these items may be less reliable than previous ones, mainly because it falls on Saturday October 1st and I know that Apple releases new iPhone or at least historically, on Thursday on Friday. And Apple is very careful and confidentiality agreements with companies, so it seems very strange that it may leak information on the specific date of issue, even if the source of the rumor is still the most reliable.
