We are informed via press release from the lower price of F1 2009, the official game for iPhone and iPod Touch World Championship Formula One FIA. This title can be obtained from the Apple App Store for just EUR 2,39 in the App Store.

We assume that is a way to squeeze sales now that the new Formula 1 season is about to begin (March 14, for the clueless) and, therefore, F1 2010 will be just around the corner.

In any case, for just over 2 euros you can impersonate your favorite driver and compete in Time Trial and Endurance testing at circuits like Monaco, Valencia and Montmelo. All this with an impressive graphic part and a gameplay that uses the iPhone’s motion sensor.
