Most of the lucky owners of iPod music players use a variety of docking systems in order to charge the device and listen to music at home through the speakers and not through the headphones. But why need a docking station, which takes place at the table, if its function can successfully execute the table itself? We present to you the world’s first desk – a docking station for iPod. 

The device (or, rather, a piece of furniture) is equipped with a large table top with built-in dock for the player and a dozen speakers, built-in legs. This course hi-tech design, entitled Table of Sound was created by a team Wondering Boys and special award of the prestigious contest Designboom Sound Innovation. Reportedly, the sound desk is able to connect to your player wirelessly or via a standard mini-jack. All this looks pretty interesting, does not rest only one question – where are the power dynamics?
