Qik on iPhone, without real-time streaming

Finally 3GS iPhone users can enjoy the Qik application on the platform, but the bad news is that it includes the possibility of streaming video in real time (the most important feature of Qik by definition!) As is the case in Applications for Symbian S60 or Android.

The truth is that it’s a shame that Apple does not allow real-time streaming over a little better now that the camera in the iPhone 3GS … but you can always jailbreak;) Another negative point is that you can not use the application for 3G networks and can only use it via WiFi.

That said, let’s see what features Qik brings the iPhone version, which in the end, “because of these limitations of the platform-ends up being a simple software to upload video recorded before:
Auto rise: if you record from your application, the videos are uploaded automatically after recording is finished.
You can record video in portrait or landscape modes.
Upload videos geotagged, based on your position at the time that you upload.
Automatically upload video to Facebook, Youtube and various blogging services.
