The buzz around the upcoming release for Tweetie 2.0 for iPhone (one of the greatest for un’app that is not a game) starts to become almost unbearable, among the various online sources dealing. Unbearable, of course, for two distinct reasons.

The first is the excess of expectation and anxiety for those who already feature an admirer of the application and Twitter. The other is the excess of pain in the ass by those of Twitter (and let alone, Tweet) do not really want to know.

Along with attractive features (such as the total rewrite of the application in question, the real gem of the synchronization of saved searches on Tweetie with those in the web version of Twitter desktop, as well as support for the retweet Journal, still in development), though, came a small setback: users of Tweetie first version will not have a free upgrade. For the rest, pure joy for the eyes and fingers.
