Just the day when we read the news that even this latest update has made the much-vaunted push notifications to Skype for iPhone, here’s a new application (created for other purposes) promises to make slaves of those coveted notifications.

These Boxcar 2.0 (this version, which promises sparks, is still waiting to be available on the App Store) and, although maybe you have not yet installed on your Apple device with a touchscreen reference, note that in all likelihood to date is the application that makes it more user-wise and competent push for the iPhone.

In practice it is a hub notification for other applications. Mainly “worked” with Mail, Facebook, and a very large client for Twitter. Particularly fine choice of options with regard to Twitter, so you can also customize the notification sound for each specific “trending topic”.

One of the flaws of the application is undoubtedly the payment system. Boxcar is obtained by buying the right to use it only with a service, albeit choice. Other uses are purchased through in-app purchasing.
