Spy angered iPhone App Buyer

According to a report by Mac4ever.com have Swiss iPhone users who have downloaded the free version of the transport application Mogoroad getting annoying telemarketing calls to your cellphone. Thus, the manufacturer paid the Mogoroad-app trying to sell.

The App according to the portal Macnews is just the tip of the iceberg: There are other mini-applications for the iPhone to forward phone numbers of the Apple handsets that are installed on them to the manufacturer. Apple has removed the software from the App Store already Mogoroad. Meanwhile, there are a number of suspicious Apps (see “Links”). The response from the manufacturer

The manufacturer of Mogoroad, the Lausanne company ID Mobile SA, has now responded to the allegations. The Company does not guarantee any defective use codes to get phone numbers; it is said in a press release. The id Mobile SA but “the possibility of the phone numbers of Swiss mobile customers – and only knows of these – about. We do this on a legal basis and only in the Swiss market, where we were the legislature to authorize, through connections via SMS, WAP or mobile Internet of the dealer. ”
