iPhone iPod Plus

That the iPod touch with camera was in the pipeline was already quite obvious, and probably will be presented during the ‘special event to be held in the week starting September 7. For the impatient, however, here is a gem: TechTicker today published photos of an iPod touch with camera taken from a Chinese forum. Photos or fake?

Technically, the images would be related to the prototypes, however, able to take pictures, record movies, make video editing and finally run the upload on Mobile Me and YouTube. Do not know the specifications of the camera, but it is likely that the hardware is already present in iPhone 3GS, nothing more, nothing less.

Doubt the authenticity of the photos has been raised by several parties and appear quite acceptable. Reflections in the Dock and prohibitions leave, because they are not present in the current version of firmware, and even the back cover (below) seems a little ‘too battered to be that of a prototype. Meanwhile, Daring Fireball has posted the rumors on the prices of the new iPods: 16/32/64 GB $ 199/299/399 respectively. More convenient for Zune Touch.
